Single in Singapore? Once you have turned 35, you are eligible to buy HDB flats for singles. Finally, you can move out of your parents’ home or swap a rental home for a flat of your own!

There will be some changes to the HDB Singles Scheme which will kick in from H2 2024. For example, previously restricted to new 2-room Flexi flats in non-mature estates and resale flats, singles will now be eligible to ballot for new 2-room Flexi flats in all estates.

They will also be able to buy HDB resale flats in the Standard, Plus and Prime categories, subject to resale income ceilings for Plus and Prime flats.
