It is impressive to see what SingHaiyi Group has done with Parc Clematis, the developer’s largest project to date, located along Jalan Lempeng. The 1,468-unit Mega Development comprising 1,450 apartment units, 12 strata terraces and six strata bungalows built on a massive plot of land spanning 633,639 sq. ft., one would imagine the development to be packed with towering apartment blocks built close to each other, but Parc Clematis is the exact opposite, featuring plenty of open spaces and lush greenery.
Despite the large number of total units offered at Parc Clematis, the developer has taken great care in ensuring that each of the residential towers and strata units are spaciously separated from each other, offering a generous distance ranging between 58m to 113m. Additionally, the developer has designed Parc Clematis based on a unique 80/20 concept – 80 percent landscaped gardens and 20 percent residential blocks to amplify the connection between nature and residents, and the result is an open, airy development surrounded by lush greens and soothing water features. While Parc Clematis has not been completed, the carefully thought through design of the development has already earned them numerous awards and nominations including Best Mega Scale Condo Development and Best Universal Design Development at the 2019 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore).
Another unique attribute of Parc Clematis’s design is its elevation feature – the development is built on elevated land, which means units on the lower floors including the second floor, will be able to enjoy unblocked views of the surroundings with great airflow within the development.
A Bevy of Communal and Resort-Style Facilities
In keeping with its vision of building a development that encourages community-building, interaction and conviviality, the developer has built ample facilities sprawled across 633,639 sq. ft. of land, providing a full suite of leisure options for its residents. In fact, community-living is a concept that the developer has put much though into, so the facilites are curated such that residents can use and share them more meaningfully.
Notable features include the spacious, open-plan communal Chef’s Kitchen which comes equipped with portable furniture to suit every culinary activity; five clubhouses to cater to different lifestyle concepts; an expansive sky garden; two jacuzzi alcoves; a cosy and comfy Reading Room; an elegant Celebration Hall which is great for hosting intimate, lavished social gatherings, grand banquets and extended family events as well; a Multi-purpose 3-in-1 Entertainment Room which can be used for music concerto, karaoke, console gaming and/or movies. There is a sliding door in this room which enables it to be transformed into an expansive theatrette.
The facilities are also grouped into Active and Relax zones, so for residents who lead an active lifestyle, they can make full use of the amenities within the Active zone including tennis courts, a 600m jogging track, an indoor gym, and five swimming pools including three 50m lap pools and a freeform 100m beach pool (the largest of such pools in the west side of Singapore) with aqua therapy features. For those who prefer to stay indoors, the development offers 17 thematic pavilions where they can simply relax and unwind while admiring the lush surroundings. The facilities at Parc Clematis are catered to both adults and children, there are amenities specially designed for children including a toddler play pool and a kids’ water play zone.
