Comment on 99.co’s guides: What is fair wear and tear in the Singapore rental market? by Krystina

The fact that when we opened them up the led wall fixtures were rusted, filled with soil and signs of seepage that damaged the lean lights. Now landlord is asking as to replace due to our negligence. How is possible that the fixtures wasn’t damaged but a poorly installation by landlord. This property was leased to us for 3 years only and we returned in a tenable condition interior and did up all repairs/damages even is the poor quality given by her developer. Their reason is an wear and tear issue, how is it possible. Pls enlightened us.
