Cross Island Line (CRL) is the eighth MRT line in Singapore, providing accessibility and ease of convenience for residents living in the west and east.
The CRL will be constructed in three phases: the Cross Island Line Phase 1 (CRL1) comprises 12 stations and Cross Island Line Phase 2 (CRL2) has six stations. With a length rail of 50km, the CRL will be the longest underground MRT line in Singapore.

Cross Island Line Map: Upcoming CRL Phase 2 MRT Stations
On 20 September 2022, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced the stations of the next phase of the CRL project. Residents living in the east and west can look forward to six upcoming underground stations in areas such as Sunset Way and West Coast. The underground stations will be under construction in 2023 and are expected to be completed by 2032.
The six stations are called, Turf City, King Albert Park, Maju, Clementi, West Coast and Jurong Lake District. Out of the six, King Albert Park and Clementi are two upcoming interchanges that lie on the Downtown Line (DTL) and East-West Line (EWL).
