What a shame? What is wrong with URA planning? They are taking away the little recreational spaces Singaporeans have. I wish to point out that they do not have common sense to convert Kallang Riverside to 4000 units of condominiums in a heritage land which can be promoted as Singapore “Effiel Tower” for tourism and recreational activities for Singaporeans. If they need to fill their coffer, convert the leasehold factories/commercial buildings opposite the Kallang Riverside Park to luxurious condo. You can imagine how much more $ the government can fill their coffer if condos are facing Singapore “Effiel Tower”. A shame to earn millions but no brain. Sigh.
