A luxury penthouse at Bishopsgate Residences has been put up for sale via private treaty with an indicative price of about $25 million, revealed sole marketing agent OrangeTee Advisory.

With a floor area of 5,974 sq ft, the penthouse features four bedrooms, a family area, balcony, gourmet kitchen, Asian kitchen, roof terrace and private pool. All bedrooms are fitted with ensuite facilities, while the family area has been converted into a mini office-cum-activity area.

Located at 1 Bishopsgate in District 10, Bishopsgate Residences is a 31-unit freehold condominium that was developed by Kajima in 2012. It is adjacent to zoned Good Class Bungalows (GCBs) and is the only site within Bishopsgate with permission for condominium development.

The marketing agent noted that several embassies can be found within the vicinity including that of China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and the United Kingdom – “making Bishopsgate a highly protected and sought after neighbourhood”.

Despite its exclusive location, Bishopsgate Residences is just a 5-minute drive to the Orchard Road shopping belt and around 10 minutes to the Central Business District (CBD). It is also near various international schools including Invictus International School, EtonHouse International School Orchard and Furen International School.

With the residential market remaining buoyant in spite of the pandemic, Wen Hui Chew, Senior Manager of OrangeTee Advisory expects the penthouse to attract considerable interest.

“This penthouse is a unique product in this prestigious, low-density estate, and we believe that it will appeal to ultra-high net worth individuals, particularly foreigners looking for a home or to invest in a stable income-producing asset,” she said.

“We also expect strong interest from homebuyers who value its serenity and exclusivity while enjoying the accessibility of its prime location.”
