BTO season comes four times a year, and each quarter, the news reports about the hordes of hopefuls who cross their fingers and hope to be allocated a new flat from HDB. Bukit Merah is highly sought-after due to its location on the edge of the city core, but BTO launches in the area are scarce. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the May 2021 launch of Telok Blangah Beacon saw prices for 3-room flats hovering at around the half a million mark.
