Prices for The Watergardens at Canberra start at under $920,000, $1.3 million and $1.8 million for a two-, three- and four-bedroom apartment respectively.
The Watergardens at Canberra, UOL Group’s latest residential project, is set to open for preview this Saturday (17 July), with prices starting from under $1,400 per sq ft (psf).
Situated near Canberra MRT station as well as the future North Coast Innovation Corridor, the 448-unit project offers a mix of two- to four-bedroom units spread across 16 five-storey buildings.
Unit sizes range between 646 sq ft and 1,528 sq ft, while prices start from under $920,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, under $1.3 million for a three-bedder and under $1.8 million for a four-bedder.
Balloting for the units will be held on 31 July.
A joint venture between UOL, Kheng Leong Company and Singapore Land Group, the 99-year leasehold project is also close to various nature attractions, including Sungei Khatib Bongsu, Sembawang Hot Spring Park as well as the Lower and Upper Seletar Reservoirs.
It is also within the vicinity of Canberra Plaza, Northpoint City, Chong Pang Wet Market and Food Centre, Sembawang Shopping Centre and the upcoming Bukit Canberra integrated hub.
Jesline Goh, Chief Investment and Asset Officer of UOL, expects robust demand for the project given that it is the first private development to be launched in Sembawang since Canberra MRT station’s opening in November 2019. It is also the first private development to enter the market within the northern part of Singapore in more than six years.
“We believe The Watergardens at Canberra will be the most affordable new launch in 2021 at the doorstep of an MRT station. Surrounded by greenery and an abundance of nature, the project is less than a five-minute walk from Canberra MRT station, which is 10 stops to Orchard MRT station,” she said.
Goh shared that this latest project follows the launch of UOL’s Clavon at Clementi Avenue 1 in December last year, which sold 70% of its 640 units during the first day.
The Watergardens at Canberra is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
