Where will the Sembawang BTO flats be located and how accessible are they?

The Sembawang BTO flats will be situated along Sembawang Avenue and Sembawang Road. By foot, these flats will be around 11 minutes away from Canberra MRT and Sembawang MRT.

From Canberra MRT, residents can reach Bishan in only five stops, where they can access the Circle Line (CCL).

Where will the Tengah BTO flats be located and how accessible are they?

The Tengah BTO estate will be located right next to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Along the PIE, the Tengah Boulevard exit will lead you right to the Tengah BTO flats. 

Although Tengah is currently quite a quiet area, residents will soon have the upcoming Hong Kah MRT and Tengah Plantation MRT only minutes away by foot. These stations are on the new Jurong Region Line, and are expected to be up and running by 2027. 

These two stations will give residents convenient train access to places like Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and International Business Park.

How many and what are the types of Tengah BTO flats offered?

2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room flats will be offered as part of this BTO launch in Tengah. There will be a total of 1,579 BTO flats made available.

With Tengah known as Singapore’s “Forest Town”, Tengah residents will have access to a 5km long and 100m wide Forest Corridor connected to the Western Water Catchment Area and Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Many community gardens will also surround the BTO flats.

The Bishan BTO flats will be located along Bishan Street 14, close to the Central Expressway (CTE). 

Bishan MRT Station will be only a 6-minute walk from the BTO flats, with Bishan Bus Interchange close to the MRT station.  
From Bishan MRT, residents will be able to reach Orchard in only five stops. They’ll also have the North South Line (CCL) or Circle Line (CCL) as options to travel out of Bishan.

What are the types of Bishan BTO flats offered?

2-room Flexi, 3-room, and 4-room flats will be offered as part of this BTO launch in Bishan, for a total of 1,522 units.

What are the key amenities nearby?

Where will the Tampines BTO flats be located and how accessible are they?

The Tampines BTO flats will be located along Bedok Canal and Bedok Reservoir Road. 

Although the flats won’t be situated at the heart of Tampines, residents will still have decent public transport access. The flats will be a 10-minute walk away from 2 MRT Stations: Bedok Reservoir MRT and Tampines West MRT.

These stations are part of the Downtown Line (DTL), giving residents direct train access to areas like Botanic Gardens and Chinatown.

How many and what are the types of Tampines BTO flats offered?

2-room Flexi, 4-room, and 5-room flats will be offered as part of this BTO launch in Tampines, for a total of 750 units.

What are the key amenities nearby?

Situated away from the hustle and bustle of Tampines, residents can enjoy scenic jogs and picnics on weekends as the BTO flats are located near Bedok Reservoir.

Residents can also easily access the Tampines Park Connector linking Bedok Reservoir Park to Pasir Ris Park. 

For malls and other recreation amenities, residents can take a short drive or bus journey to places like Our Tampines Hub, Century Square, Tampines Mall, and Tampines 1. 

There are also lots of medical amenities in the area. Tampines Polyclinic is located near Tampines MRT. Changi General Hospital, CGH Medical Centre and St Andrew’s Community Hospital are along Simei Avenue, located near the BTO flats.

Where will the Toa Payoh BTO flats be located and how accessible are they?

The Toa Payoh BTO flats will be built in 2 sites in the Bidadari area: one along Upper Aljunied Road (ParkView @ Bidadari) and the other along Mount Vernon Road (Bartley Beacon). 

Each of the BTO flat clusters are located close to an MRT station. The BTO flats along Upper Aljunied Road will be located near Woodleigh MRT Station (North East Line), while those along Mount Vernon Road will be situated right opposite Bartley MRT (Circle Line).

How many and what are the types of Toa Payoh (Bidadari) BTO flats offered?

The ParkView @ Bidadari BTO flats located along Upper Aljunied Road will be in the form of 3-room and 4-room units, for a total of 350 flats. 

The Bartley Beacon BTO flats along Mount Vernon Road will be in the form of 3-room, 4-room and 5-room units, for a total of 880 flats.

What are the key amenities nearby?

Residents of the Toa Payoh BTO flats will have access to 3 shopping malls in the area. Along Macpherson Road, there is Macpherson Mall and The Venue Shoppes. Additionally, the new Woodleigh Mall, set to open in 2022, will be situated right outside Woodleigh MRT Station.

How long does a BTO take to complete?

HDB BTO projects typically take three to four years to be completed, but some are ready in as short as 2.5 years. Do note, however, that the COVID-19 situation has caused some delays (up to five years).

How do you book a BTO flat?

To apply for a BTO, you must wait for one of the quarterly HDB BTO sales launches and ballot for a number. If successful, you will be invited to select your unit and book your BTO flat. 

Will HDB prices drop in 2020?

Who’s to say? HDB BTO prices are increasing, but generally, they remain the most affordable housing option in Singapore. For resale HDB flats, you can refer to the HDB resale index.  

How much is a downpayment for BTO?
